The Four Gods [some say five] have been around since the beginning of time, watching over thier respective parts of Japan as the mortals pay thier respects to them in song and dance. But what if those Gods suddenly weren't around anymore? What if someone - or something - was picking them off one by one? That seems to be the case since SohRyu, the Azure Dragon, has disappeared recently.
Despite the pleading of Japan's people, he has yet to return, making the gods of Japan nervous and worried. If someone can make SohRyu disappear, what does that mean for them? How do they stop this? The only answer they ever get is that they have to do something.. and fast.. before Japan starts crumbling down around them all.

registration
registration is probably the most important part of your whole experience on the board, because largely it dictates how well you can follow instructions. our instructions are quite simple. register with a properly spelled and capitalized name. and for the blondes that means that you don't press the cap locks key. kay? now, as always, if you make a mistake, we'll be more than happy to change it for you, but just - register correctly from the get go, okay? you'll make the admins happy. and when you make the admins happy we give you cookies. and who doesn't like cookies?
post length
alright, so we'll be honest. the admins aren't the world's biggest pregnant doges and we're not gonna come after you with sharp sticks if you don't always meet this, but we're asking that you try and maintain at least 450 words per post. that's really not a lot, and so we're asking you to try. yeah you maybe can't hit it every time if you're not the strongest rper, but we do consider ourselves a literate site, so please try!
graphics
graphics are a must. you have to have them. period. avatars can be a size of 100x100. as for sigs, yes you have to have one, but we're not gonna be dictators about the sizes. as long as it doesn't stretch the page, we're happy. if you can't make graphics yourself, either pm an admin and we'll help you out, or even better, check caution v 2.0. they'll surely have something that'll interest you.
face claims
we're not going to be playby nazis, but we will request that you use actual people - just no scenekids, myspace people, or anime characters. oh, and make sure they fit the character [this is a japanese diety site, after all]. for finding a good playby, your best bet is hollow-art.com [you can find it in the links post]. they have tons of people to choose from.
advertising
is done in the advertising forum, only. that's why it's there. we won't hesitate to give you the boot if we see it happening in the cbox or via pm or e-mail. kthnx.
characters
alright, so it's a fact that chicks in general are more popular than guys. so we're going to ask that you please try and keep the numbers reasonable. for every two girls that you make, your third character has gotta be a guy [or vice-versa]. and as far as charrie maxes, we're gonna ask that you not make more than four. after that it starts getting a bit ridiculous and you're soon going to end up rping with yourself. as far as pregnancy goes, you can make your girl pregnant, but it has to be a realistic reason. and we're not letting every girl get knocked up. oh, and gay and lesbian and bisexual characters are a-okay, but the straight kids are nice too! oh and mary sues and gary stus, GTFO! kthnx.

okay, watch this. this site is rated mature. that means that swearing, sex, partying, and all other mature themes are going to come up. important: fade to black if your topic involves sex. once the shirts start comin' off and people start pulling out the condoms, you know it's time to fade to black we are asking that if you are going to do a scene that you KNOW for sure is going to involve mature themes, please place an [m] in your thread description. and if you only realize half way in that that is where your thread is going, PM an admin. we'll gladly add the [m] in there for you, no problemo! remember, you're joining with this in mind. so if you see the word 'thingy', you can't freak out on us.
